Men's Basketball

The Tigers, who are currently ranked 14th in Southern California according to the California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association, put in some serious work during their 41st Annual Riverside Holiday Tournament this past week. Riverside defeated Bethesda College (85-55) & Compton College (94-75) to reach the championship contest on Saturday afternoon. Riverside earned revenge by defeating East Los Angeles, 72-63, in the championship game after falling to them earlier in the season en route to their 11th RCC Holiday Tournament Championship trophy. Sophomore guard Andre Wilson (Colton, CA) was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player after landing in double-digits each contest. Sophomore forward Kane Daniels (Blythe, CA) earned All-Tournament recognition following a championship showing where he scored 23 points after hitting seven three pointers. Sophomore guard Brae Ivey (Huntington Beach, CA) joined the duo in All-Tournament recognition as well.
