Five Tigers Sophomores to Transfer to Four-year Universities

RIVERSIDE -- With the completion of the 2015-16 academic season early last month, several sophomores of the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's water polo and/or men's swimming and diving team have accepted scholarship offers from four-year universities.

Riverside City finished fourth (378 points) at the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Championships (May 5-7), which were held at East Los Angeles College.

The list of those RCC Tigers sophomores transferring to four-year universities appears below. Justin Rohn, a two-sport athlete in water polo and swimming, is pictured.

The Tigers were guided by third-year RCC head men's water polo and head men's swimming coach Jason Northcott.

"I am happy to share the news that all of our sophomores from the 2016 men's swim team have accepted scholarship offers to further both their academic pursuits and athletic careers," said Northcott.
