The Riverside City College men's and women's track & field program is set to kick off its campaign tomorrow by hosting the RCC Invitational that will feature talents from Glendale, Cerritos, San Diego Mesa, and Diablo Valley.

The season opener will be held at Wheelock Stadium on the campus of Riverside City College beginning with throws events at 1 p.m. The remiander of the events will kick off at 2:30 p.m.

The men look to defend their 2017 Orange Empire Conference (OEC) title after routing second-place finishing Orange Coast College in 2017. Additionally, they placed third at the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Championships. The men have also won 10-straight conference titles and will work to keep the streak alive.

The women look to have another strong season after placing fifth at the CCCAA State Championships this past year and defending their 2017 OEC championship as well. The women have won nine-straight conference championships and look to make it an even 10 this season.
