RCC Celebrates Student-Athletes with First-Ever Roarspys

Riverside City College celebrated the 2025-26 season in style with its first-ever Roarspys awards banquet. It was a night dedicated to honoring the outstanding accomplishments, unforgettable moments, and championships the Tigers had this year. Student-athletes, coaches, and staff filled the RCC cafeteria and enjoyed Raising Cane's provided by the Tiger Backers.

"The Roarpys bring our student-athletes together as one RCC athletics family—celebrating their achievements, the pride they bring to our programs, and the meaningful connections they have built while supporting and uplifting one another throughout the year," said Director of Athletics/Dean of Kinesiology Jen Spalding.

The inaugural event proved to be a tremendous success as the room buzzed with energy, laughter, and camaraderie throughout the evening. From celebrating individual milestones to recognizing team success, the Roarspys showcased the unity, excellence, and family atmosphere that define Riverside Athletics.
