Riverside City College grabbed its second straight victory over a ranked foe, defeating No. 13-ranked San Bernardino Valley College 69-62 Wednesday night.
The Tigers improve to 7-5 on the year, while the Wolverines slip to 7-5 overall.
Kollen Murphy led RCC with 19 points (4-for-13), dished out four assists, and grabbed three steals. Jaedon Hose-Shea chipped in 13 points (4-for-8), while Jabari Harris added nine points (3-for-6).
PJ Pounds finished with a game-high nine rebounds, while Murphy added six boards.

SBVC made things close in the final minute of action after pulling within two possessions, 67-62, and called a timeout. The Wolverines fouled with 32 seconds left in the game, but Hose-Shea made both his free throws to keep the visitors at bay before the Tigers held on for the 69-62 victory.
Riverside looks to keep building momentum as it hits the road for a 6 p.m. contest at the College of the Desert on Tuesday.
