RCC Men's Tennis Defeats Cypress College

Match Notes:

·         RCC opens Orange Empire Conference play with a commanding performance againstCypress College.  The Tigers dropped only eight games on the day.

·         For the third match in a row, freshman Eliott Moreno started the Tigers off with another dominating performance, this time in the #4 spot, 6-0, 6-0.

·         Sophomores Colten Douglass and Ulises Banos kept the Tigers rolling, dominating the #6 and #3 spots.

·         Playing in the #1 spot for the first time this season, freshman Danny Garcia looked poised and in control, winning 6-0, 6-0.

·         Sophomore Gustavo Carvalho sealed another victory for the Tigers, putting the Tigers up 5-0.

·         In doubles, the sophomore tandem of Carvalho and Stevenson put together the strongest performance at #3, winning 8-0.

·         RCC now looks forward to another Orange Empire Conference matchup at Irvine ValleyCollege on Thursday, February 21st (2:00).
