Riverside City College Sweeps Men's and Women's Orange Empire Conference Championships

For the men, this was the Tigers seventh straight conference title while the women claimed their third straight.
Riverside took the men's championship with a team score of 441.5, 309.5 points ahead of second place. Orange Coast followed in second place with a team score of 132 while Saddleback College took third place with a score of 102.5. Fullerton College came in fourth place, eight points ahead of fifth place Santiago Canyon College. Golden West College rounded out the team scores in sixth place.
On the women's side, Riverside scored 324 points while Orange Coast College followed in second place with 154.5 points while Golden West College took third place with 113.5 points. Fullerton College followed in fourth place with Saddleback College coming in fifth place. Santiago Canyon College took sixth place and Santa Ana College took seventh.
After three conference records were set last Friday, just one record fell today when Natasha Caldwell of Golden West College broke the record in the javelin throw with a mark of 45.52.
