Sarah Hollis, Sophomore, OEC Champion

Sarah Hollis

Hollis, a veteran leader on the trail for the Tigers, recently led her team to RCC’s fourth-consecutive Orange Empire Conference (OEC) Championship crown. In the midst of a team championship, Hollis hauled in the individual title and was named the 2017 OEC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Year. She snapped the tape with an overall time of 18:25.9 which was a victory by a landslide.

Hollis followed a week later by placing second in the Southern California Championships which marks the seventh-consecutive meet she landed on the podium. She has earned three first-places finishes, two second-place finishes, and two third-place finishes this season.
