RCC Keeps Rolling With Third Straight Win

Riverside City College picked up its third-straight win Tuesday night, defeating College of the Desert 85-77.

The Tigers improve to 8-5 overall, while the Roadrunners slip to 3-10 on the year.

Five Tigers finished the night in double figures, led by Tylon Williams with 19 points (7-for-13). Kollen Murphy followed with 17 points (6-for-13), while PJ Pounds chipped in 15 points (6-for-10) and was one board shy of a double-double. Reggie Caldwell added 12 points (5-for-6) and Christian Warren rounded out the quintet with 10 points.

Defensively, Pounds had five blocks and three steals to help secure the win for RCC.

Riverside closes out its nonconference schedule with a tough matchup, heading to No. 4-ranked Citrus College on Friday for a 5 p.m. tip.
