After a 19-day hiatus, Riverside City College got back to the hardwood and grabbed a dominant 83-56 victory over Orange Coast College Wednesday night to begin Orange Empire Conference action.

The Tigers improve to 9-6 on the year and start OEC action with a 1-0 mark, while the Pirates drop to 1-14 overall, 0-1 in conference.

Four Tigers finished the night in double figures, led by Kollen Murphy with 21 points (7-for-13). PJ Pounds followed with 16 points on an impressive 7-for-10 shooting performance, while Tylon Williams added 11 points (4-for-7) and Kavon Ray chipped in 10 points (4-for-10).

Pounds also grabbed 10 rebounds to post his fifth double-double of the season, while Matthias Tinker snagged six boards.
