No. 26-ranked Riverside City College got back on track with a 73-56 victory over Cypress College Friday night.
The Tigers improve to 12-8 overall and 4-2 in the Orange Empire Conference, moving into a tie for third place in the conference standings. The Chargers drop to 10-10 on the year, 1-5 in conference.
Three Tigers finished the night in double figures, with Kollen Murphy once again leading the charge. The sophomore posted 22 points (8-for-15), while Jabari Harris followed with 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting. Tylon Williams rounded out the trio with 11 points (4-for-8).
PJ Pounds led RCC's rebounding efforts with seven boards, helping Riverside win the glass 30-to-26.
The Tigers return home to host No. 10-ranked Santiago Canyon College, which sits in second place in the conference standings, on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
