No. 25-ranked Riverside City College held onto its second-place standing on the Orange Empire Conference leaderboard with an 80-54 victory over Saddleback College Friday night.
The Tigers improve to 15-9 on the year and 7-3 in conference, while the Bobcats slip to 12-12 overall, 3-7 in the OEC.
Five Tigers finished the night in double figures, with Tylon Williams leading the charge with 17 points on 5-for-9 shooting. Jabari Harris followed with 14 points (4-for-10), while Kollen Murphy chipped in 12 points (6-for-8), and Kavon Ray (2-for-4) and PJ Pounds (3-for-3) each added 10 points.
Williams also led RCC with seven boards, helping the Tigers outrebound Saddleback 37-to-33.
Riverside heads out on the road for a pair of games next week, first taking on Irvine Valley College on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
