Tigers Take Eighth at OEC #2

Results

Riverside City College took to the greens for the second Orange Empire Conference competition of the season and took eighth with a 404.

College of the Desert won for the second-straight week with a 374, while Orange Coast College took second with a 377. Cypress College was also three strokes behind with a 380 in third.

Brayden Gilpin led the Tigers with a 76, while Elijah Gonzalez was one stroke behind with a 77. Rigo Navarro carded an 81 and Carson Escobedo finished with an 82. Tray Al-Shrufa rounded out the scorers with an 88, while Blake Richert was the drop score with an 89.

Weather permitting, RCC is scheduled to play again on Wednesday at the third OEC event of the season, hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College at Soboba Springs CC.
