Tigers Show More Improvements, Take Third

Riverside City College made more improvements to take third at the third Orange Empire Conference tournament of the year, hosted by Orange Coast College.

The Tigers finished nine over as a team, posting a 297 as a team to take third overall. Victor Valley College won the event with a 278, while the College of the Desert took second with a 282.

Blake Richert led RCC with a one-under 71, while Jack Wasserman wasn't far behind with a one-over 73. Ashton Spaulding carded a 76 and Ian Kim rounded out the scorers with a 77.

Rigo Navarro and Elijah Gonzalves also finished with a 79 and 80, respectively.

Riverside returns home for its OEC contest on Monday, teeing off at 7:30 a.m. at Victoria Club.
