RCC Takes Sixth at First OEC Tournament
Riverside City College struggled at its first Orange Empire Conference contest of the season and tied for sixth at the Cypress College Tournament.
The Tigers finished with a 317, along with Cuyamaca College, while the College of the Desert won the event at four-over 292.
Ian Kim, Jack Wasserman and Ashton Spaulding each shot 78 to lead the Tigers, while Elijah Gonzalves rounded out the scorers with an 83. Rigo Navarro and Michael Viene were RCC's drop scores after carding an 86 and 87, respectively.
Riverside looks to shake it off as it heads to Mt. San Jacinto's tournament on Wednesday, teeing off at 10 a.m. at Soboba Springs Country Club.
