Tigers Take Second at Cuyamaca Classic

Riverside City College took second at the Cuyamaca Invitational on Wednesday afternoon, with two Tigers placing in the top three.

The Tigers shot +20 as a team, with Blake Richert leading RCC with a two-over 73. Ashton Spaulding followed with a 74, while Jack Wasserman also finished in the top 10 with a 78, putting him ninth overall. Rico Navarro rounded out the scorers for Riverside with a 79.

Elijah Gonzales (82) and Michael Vienne (85) were the Tigers' two drop scores.

RCC looks to carry that momentum into Monday as it hosts the Riverside Invitational at the Victoria Club, teeing off at 11 a.m.
