Steve Sigloch was named the Riverside City College Tigers head men's golf coach in 2009 and has enjoyed much success since taking over the golf program. During his tenure, Sigloch has coached numerous All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State players.

This past year, RCC saw two Tigers qualify for the SoCal Regional and advance to the 3C2A State Championship. Ronny Zheng grabbed All-State honors with a sixth-place individual finish after sitting tied for 22nd after the first round.

In 2018, his team advanced to SoCal Regionals and placed seventh at the State Championships. The previous year, his team won both the Orange Empire Conference Championship and the SoCal Regional Championship.  Everett Najera was the 2017 OEC Conference Player of the Year and crowned the SoCal Regional Individual Champion. RCC also finished third at the State Championship that year.

Sigloch's 2015 squad won the OEC championship, finished fourth at the SoCal Regional Championship, and took fourth at the 3C2A State Championships. Sophomore Chad Hambright was named the OEC Player of the Year.

The Tigers made program history in 2014, winning the 3C2A State Championship on their home course – the Victoria Country Club – which was the first Men’s Golf State Championship at Riverside City College.

In 2010, RCC finished third at the Southern California Regionals and fourth at the CCCAA State Championships. That year, Nick Paez was crowned the SoCal Regional individual champion. The year before, Sigloch's first year as head coach, Kendall Jenkins captured RCC’s first individual Golf State Championship.

Before coaching golf at RCC, Sigloch spent 15 years as an assistant football coach for the Tigers. He was the defensive coordinator for three years and built a reputation for putting excellent defensive units on the field.

Sigloch began his coaching career at Riverside Poly High School, where he was an outstanding two-sport athlete. He went on to attend the University of Utah, where he played both football and baseball, and was twice named a Western Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete. Sigloch was drafted in 1990 by the Milwaukee Brewers and spent two seasons with the organization.

Sigloch is also the Department Chair in Kinesiology and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Utah and a master’s degree in kinesiology from Azusa Pacific University. He resides in Riverside with his wife, Chancy; son, Jack; and daughter, Ryann.
