Tigers Grab All-American Honors

After a strong showing at the 3C2A State Championship, Riverside City College saw seven athletes and five relay teams earn All-American honors.

Yousef Nahali picked up individual All-American recognition in the 50-yard free (20.51 seconds) and the 100-yard free (44.81 seconds).

Zekiah Serrano grabbed individual All-American honors in the 50-yard free (20.58 seconds), the 100-yard butterfly (48.56 seconds), and the 100-yard individual medley (50.67 seconds).

Lennon Franklin earned individual All-American recognition in the 50-yard free (20.95 seconds), the 100-yard backstroke (50.37 seconds), the 100-yard butterfly (50.73 seconds), and the 100-yard IM (51.68 seconds).

Vincent Fierro picked up individual All-American honors in the 1650-yard free (17:04.61).

Jared Ladinez earned individual All-American recognition in the 100-yard breaststroke (55.19 seconds) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:06.06).

Davis DeAnda grabbed individual All-American honors in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:09.45).

Zachary McDonald grabbed All-American honors on the 1-meter diving board after posting a score of 192.70 at the state championship.

Nahali, Ireland, Franklin, and Serrano earned two relay All-American recognitions: the 200-yard free relay (1:22.08) and the 400-yard free relay (3:01.99). Ireland, Ladinez, Serrano, and Franklin grabbed All-American honors in the 800-yard free relay (6:57.86), while Franklin, Ladinez, Serrano, and Nahali picked up All-American honors in the 200-yard medley relay (1:29.50) along with the 400-yard medley relay (3:19.23).
