Wesolowski, McCarron Grab OEC Top Honors

After leading Riverside City College to its 10th consecutive Orange Empire Conference title, Alex Wesolowski was named the OEC Runner of the Year, while head coach Jim McCarron was selected as the OEC Coach of the Year.

Wesolowski helped RCC post 15 team points to beat out its competition by more than 30 points. He won the individual title in 20 minutes, 33.7 seconds, and went on to lead the Tigers to win their first-ever SoCal Championship the following week.

McCarron grabs his 12th OEC Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year Award after seeing Riverside win its 10th straight conference championship.

The Tigers, who sit eighth in the 3C2A, head to the State Championship on Saturday in Fresno. RCC looks to win its second 3C2A Cross Country Championship under McCarron, last winning in 2016.
