RCC Takes Third at 3C2A State Championship

Results

Riverside City College grabbed a top five finish for the sixth time in seven years after taking third place at the 3C2A State Championship Saturday morning.

The Tigers finished with 154 points, while Cuyamaca College won the championship with 90 points and Mt. San Antonio College took second with 98 points.

Anthony Silva led RCC, taking 22nd overall with a time of 20 minutes, 47.2 seconds. Luis Mier wasn't far behind, taking 25th in 20:53.8 to join Silva earning All-State honors.

Alex Wesolowski posted a time of 21:01.1, followed by Martin Sandoval in 21:04.4 and Dyeem Tolbert posted a time of 21:06.1. Joshua West finished in 21:28.1 and Ivan Dorantes rounded out the scorers for RCC after clocking in at 21:21.1.
