Riverside finishes third at the Palomar Invitational

Results

SAN MARCOS (9-7-2012) - The Tigers finished in third place at the Palomar Invitational. Riverside scored 98 points, and they were bested by Cerritos (31 points) and Palomar (93 points). Marissa Jimenez took seventh place in the event as she completed her run in 20:47. Sophomore Lisbet Castaneda (21:21) just missed out on a top 10 finish by seven seconds. Freshman Brenda Retano came (22:13) in 24th place.

The Tigers will compete at the UCR Invitational at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.
