RCC Takes Fifth at DI Invite

Results

Riverside City College competed at the John Elders Invitational on Friday night and took fifth overall as a team.

Celeste Mendoza led the Tigers with a top-25 finish, taking 24th overall in 23 minutes, 41.2 seconds. Lorena Munoz wasn't far behind, clocking in at 24:03.4, while Caitlyn Brody was RCC's third runner with a time of 24:56.2.

Audianna Salgado (26:36.0), Valeria Serrano (28:53.5), Evangeline Ibarra (33:19.3), and Marian Juarez (33:23.5) rounded out the runners for Riverside.

RCC shifts its focus to the postseason, heading to the Orange Empire Conference Championship next Friday at 9 a.m. at Saddleback College.
