Munoz Grabs All-American Finish, Leads RCC to Eighth Place at State

Results

Riverside City College battled sloppy conditions and took eighth overall at the 3C2A State Championship Meet.

The Tigers scored 280 points, while San Diego Mesa College won the event with 85 team points.

Nadia Munoz led the Tigers with a sixth-place finish, clocking in at 18 minutes, 56.7 seconds to earn herself All-American honors. Citlaly Ruiz followed with a time of 20:06.9 to take 30th, while Celeste Mendoza posted a time of 21:01.6. Jaiden Kelly and Isabella Chavez finished in 22:08.4 and 22:22.4, respectively, to round out the top-five runners for Riverside.
