Tigers Take Fourth at SoCal Regional, Qualify for State

Riverside City College took fourth at the SoCal Regional Championship Friday and qualified for the 3C2A State Championship.

Nadia Munoz led the Tigers with a 10th-place finish, clocking in at 19 minutes, 34.9 seconds to earn All-Region honors.

Citlaly Ruiz followed in 20:13.5 to take 18th and Celeste Mendoza posted a time of 21:20.1. Audianna Salgado finished in 21:43.4 and Isabella Chavez rounded out the top five runners for RCC with a time of 22:37.9.

Riverside heads to Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif., for the State Championship on Nov. 23.
