Tigers Open 2024 Season at Redlands

Results

REDLANDS - The Riverside City College Tigers opened up the 2024 season on Saturday morning, racing off against Redlands in a dual meet.

On the men's side, the Tigers were led by Kailil O'Brien, who finished fifth overall with a time of 20:17.5 over the 6k course. Anthony Ruiz was the second RCC runner across the finish line, taking 11th in a time of 20:54.2. Martin Torres-Sandoval (21:10.4), Damian Spralls (21:15.4), Edward Garcia (21:18.9) and Daniel Nava (21:23.4) rounded out the Tiger scorers.

On the women's side, Nadia Munoz finished fourth in a time of 17:59.7 on the 4.5k course. Celeste Mendoza was seventh with a time of 19:17.8 with Audianna Salgado rounding out the top 10 with a time of 19:47.7. Citaly Ruiz (19:54.7), Isabella Chavez (21:23.4), Jaiden Kelly (21:24.2) and Evelyn Reyes (22:23.1) also scored for the Tigers.

Riverside City College will next hit the course on Sep. 7, making the trip to San Bernardino for the Coyote Invite, hosted by CSUSB.
