Riverside City College couldn't stop No. 4-ranked Orange Coast College on Wednesday night, falling in three sets (25-16, 25-16, 25-20).
The Tigers drop to 4-12 overall and 2-3 in Orange Empire Conference action, while the Pirates remain perfect at 13-0 on the year, 5-0 in conference.
Jayden Franchere had a stellar night with seven kills on 13 attempts with only one error, boasting a .462 hitting percentage. Savannah Smith followed with six kills and added 14 digs, while Sara Brittin finished with five kills. Riley Rush dished out 17 assists, and Aurora McCulley posted three aces.
