Bio
Ayana Felton was named the Head Beach Volleyball/Assistant Indoor Volleyball Coach in the summer of 2026.
Felton brings a strong background as a collegiate volleyball coach and former student-athlete, with experience in both indoor and beach volleyball at the collegiate and national club levels. Most recently, she spent two seasons as an Assistant Indoor Volleyball Coach at La Sierra University, where she helped guide the program to a playoff appearance.
In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Felton has over seven years of experience coaching nationally competitive club volleyball. She has led high-level travel teams, developed athletes for collegiate competition, and guided teams to national tournament appearances—demonstrating her commitment to excellence and athlete development.
As a student-athlete at La Sierra University, Felton had a decorated career. She earned two team MVP honors, was named Athlete of the Year in 2023, and finished her career ranked third in program history for digs. She also served as President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Board. Felton holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations.
Felton is known for her passion for developing student-athletes, fostering leadership, and building competitive team cultures. She is deeply committed to helping our athletes succeed both on and off the court, and we are excited to have her join our RCC community.
