Riverside Gets Back on Track With Win at Mt. SAC

Riverside City College grabbed a 7-2 victory over Mt. San Antonio College on Thursday afternoon to get back on track.

The Tigers improve to 7-2 on the year and 1-1 in the Orange Empire Conference. The Mounties drop to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in conference.

Charalampos Plataniotis and Vinicius Magrin got things going with an 8-0 victory in the No. 2 doubles spot. Ronith Sreeram and Giovanne Recchia followed with an 8-2 win before Matias Almeida and Bryan Tapia swept the doubles with an 8-5 match win.

Riverside kept it going with four singles wins as Plataniotis, Lucas Koitka, Ethan Lee and Jayden Weng won their matches.

The Tigers are back at home on Friday, hosting Hope International University at 12 p.m.
