Tigers Take Down Fourth-Straight Foe

Riverside City College grabbed its fourth-straight win and second-straight shutout with a 9-0 victory over Orange Coast College Thursday afternoon.

The Tigers improve to 10-2 on the year and 3-1 in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Pirates drop to 6-6 overall and 1-2 in conference.

RCC swept the doubles competition with Ethan Lee and Matias Almeida grabbing an 8-0 shutout win.

Lee went on to defeat his singles opponent 6-0, 6-0, while Giovanne Recchia and Charalampos Plataniotis also shutout their singles competition (6-0, 6-0).

The Tigers are back at home on Tuesday, hosting Ventura College at 2 p.m.
