Riverside City College opened the season at the Merced North vs. South Tournament on Friday and fell 20-7 to West Valley College before dropping to Diablo Valley College 16-7.
The Tigers begin the year at 2-0 with two more games to play in the tournament.
Luke Bills led RCC in the first game with four goals, while Yanti Quijada added two and Ian Partida-Garcia chipped in another goal.
In the second game, Bills and Quijada each netted two goals, while Nico Armstrong, Jax Mora, and Davis DeAnda also scored for the Tigers.
Riverside takes on host Merced College Saturday morning at 7 a.m., before closing the tournament against Las Positas College at 11:20 a.m.
