Riverside City College opened Orange Empire Conference action against a tough opponent, ultimately falling 26-10 to No. 8-ranked Orange Coast College.
The Tigers slip to 3-6 on the year and begin conference play with a 0-1 record, while the Pirates improve to 12-3 overall and remain undefeated in OEC action at 2-0.
Luke Bills scored half of RCC's goals and assisted on two others. He also finished with two steals and two ejections drawn.
Riverside also saw goals from Yanti Quijada (two), Jax Mora, Damion Montegue, and Davis DeAnda.
RCC continues on the road as it heads to Golden West College next Wednesday for a noon matchup.
