Las Positas
Riverside City College closed out the Merced North vs. South Tournament Saturday morning with two lopsided victories.
The Tigers beat host Merced College 17-6 before handing Las Positas College a 17-4 loss to improve to 2-2 on the year.
Luke Bills had a solid day, scoring seven goals in the first game and following with six goals against Las Positas. Yanti Quijada added four goals against Merced, while Damion Montegue rattled in two others, and Nico Armstrong, Jax Mora, Ian Partida-Garcia, and Davis DeAnda also scored for the Tigers.
Alex Castellanos finished with 11 saves in the cage for RCC.
Against Las Positas, the Tigers also saw three goals from Quijada, two each from Diego Ramirez and Damion Montegue, while Mora, Zachary McDonald, Partida-Garcia, and DeAnda also scored for Riverside.
RCC makes its home debut on Friday, hosting Crafton Hill.
