No. 4-ranked Riverside City College came up just short of making a three-peat of its Orange Empire Conference Championship, falling 19-15 to No. 3-ranked Orange Coast College in the OEC Tournament Championship game Saturday.
The Tigers move to 21-9 on the year, while the Pirates improve to 24-8 overall.
Angelina Beall led the Tigers with five goals, followed by Yosra Elseifi with four goals and four steals. Presley Burrell added three goals, while Isabella Stolpp scored twice and Madison Faulkner rounded out the scorers for Riverside.
RCC waits to find out who it will face for the SoCal Regional, scheduled for Nov. 13-15 at Southwestern College.
