Women’s Tennis Sweeps Mt. San Jacinto for Third-Straight Win

The Riverside City College women's tennis team continued to dominate the courts on Thursday afternoon in a non-conference matchup against the Mt. San Jacinto Eagles. The Tigers cruised to a 9-0 victory after not dropping a set in singles and showing off a strong doubles outing.

Sophomore number one Ellia Rosado (Riverside, CA) kicked off the day with a 6-3, 6-2 victory to set the tone. She was backed by freshman number two Heather Graf (Yucaipa, CA) who made quick work of her opponent with the final count reading 6-2, 6-0. Freshman number five Jolene Beaulieu (Riverside, CA) had the most commanding victory by defeating her opponent 6-1, 6-0.

Freshman Emilia Lopez (Norco, CA) and Graf earned a tough fought 9-7 victory in their doubles match, while freshman Madison Eason (Riverside, CA) and Beaulieu earned an 8-2 win at number three doubles.

The Tiers (3-0) will take on Southwestern on the road at noon on Friday, February 9th for their next contest.
