RCC Grabs Victory Over Fullerton

Riverside City College grabbed an 8-1 victory over Fullerton College on Tuesday.

The Tigers improve to 12-2 on the year and 6-1 in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Hornets drop to 2-15 overall and 1-6 in conference.

RCC picked up two wins – one singles and one doubles – by default to take a quick 2-0 lead before Julianna Capraro and Angelina Capraro teamed up to win their doubles match 8-3, while Victoria Herrera and Brianna Nikas posted an 8-1 doubles win.

All four Tigers then went on to win their singles matches in two sets to hand RCC the team win.

Riverside closes out the regular season on Thursday at home, hosting Orange Coast College at 2 p.m.
