Tigers Battle Undefeated Pirates

Riverside City College put up a battle with Orange Coast College on Thursday afternoon but came up short in a 7-2 defeat.

The Tigers drop to 8-2 on the year and 3-1 in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Pirates keep their unblemished season going with a 12-0 overall mark and 3-0 in conference.

Victoria Herrera and Brianna Nikas won their doubles match 8-2, while Fleurdeliz Libutan grabbed a 7-5, 6-1 singles victory.

RCC takes a break from conference action on Friday, heading to Glendale College for an 11 a.m. contest.
