RCC Can't Hold Off Undefeated OCC

Riverside closed out the regular season with a tough 6-3 loss to Orange Coast College on Thursday.

The Tigers slip to 12-3 on the year and 6-2 in conference, while the Pirates remain undefeated at 20-0 overall and 8-0 in the Orange Empire Conference.

RCC handled the doubles competition with Julianna Capraro and Angelina Capraro teaming up to grab an 8-6 victory, while Victoria Herrera and Brianna Nikas defeated their opponents 8-3.

The Tigers battled in singles competition, but only Fleurdeliz Libutan came out victorious with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 win.  

Riverside shifts its focus to the postseason, beginning with the OEC Tournament next week on Thursday and Friday.
