Riverside Women’s Tennis Defeats Saddleback, 7-2

The Riverside City College women's tennis team continued Orange Empire Conference (OEC) action on Tuesday by facing off against the Saddleback College Gauchos on the road. The Tigers continued to roll by defeating the Gauchos by the final score of 7-2.

Freshman Heather Graf helmed the squad as the number two and worked to a two set victory with scores reading 6-2, 6-4. Sophomore Autumn Keay followed with a 6-4, 6-4 win at the number three position, while freshman Emilia Lopez backed her with a 6-4, 6-2 win at the fourth spot.

Sophomore Ellia Rosado and freshman Mikahela Kahler teamed up and reigned supreme as the number two doubles pair with a dominant score of 8-1. Freshman Jolene Beaulieu and Keay earned the same score at the number three doubles as well.

The Tigers (7-2, 2-0 OEC) continue conference action on the road Thursday, March 1st as they face off against Orange Coast at 2 p.m.
