Tigers Keep Dominating, Grab Eighth Shutout Win

After two weeks off due to the weather, Riverside City College got back on the court and picked up right where it left off with its eighth 9-0 win of the year Tuesday at Fullerton College.

The Tigers – who are the top-ranked team in the ITA Southern California rankings – dominated a 9-0 victory to improve to 9-1 overall and remain undefeated at 4-0 in the Orange Empire Conference. The Hornets drop to 6-5 on the year and 1-3 in conference with the loss.

Jordyn Sundberg and Madison Reynoso swept their doubles opponent 8-0 to help put RCC off to a 3-0 start after doubles action.

Janine Kremling and Denise Campbell both shut out their singles opponents, while Bridget Bradbury battled to a three-set victory to help seal the team win.

The Tigers continue on the road, heading to Orange Coast College on Thursday for a 2 p.m. match.
