Riverside City College came up just short in a 68-60 loss on the road at Santa Ana College on Thursday.
The Tigers slip to 6-21 on the year, 0-11 in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Dons improve to 15-11 overall and 3-7 in conference.
Brianna Ruelas led the Tigers with 19 points (8-for-18), grabbed seven rebounds and dished out five assists. Alexa Moreno chipped in 10 points (3-for-6) and had five assists for RCC.
Amia McKinney grabbed five boards to help the Tigers win the glass 31-to-26.
Riverside looks to close the season out on a positive as it hosts Cypress College next Wednesday at 7 p.m. for its final game of the year.
