Riverside City College returned home Friday night to host Fullerton College, falling 72-46.
The Tigers slip to 6-12 on the year and 0-2 in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Hornets improve to 9-9 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
Salote Patetefa led the Tigers with 14 points (6-for-12) and grabbed 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the year. Alexa Moreno followed with 13 points (3-for-9), while Cheyenne Thomas was just one point off double figures and grabbed seven rebounds.
The Tigers outrebounded the Hornets 45-to-38, but couldn't hold onto the ball and finished with 23 turnovers, which led to 26 points for the Hornets.
RCC heads to Saddleback College on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. contest.
