Riverside City College battled but couldn't secure the Orange Empire Conference series victory over Santa Ana College, dropping the finale 6-2.
The Tigers drop to 8-21 on the year and 3-8 in conference, while the Dons improve to 7-21 overall and 2-9 in the OEC.
Madyson Aguilera led Riverside with a 3-for-4 performance at the plate as the Tigers out-hit the Dons 8-to-7. Karly Romero also had multiple hits, finishing 2-for-4.
RCC looks to bounce back next week as Orange Coast College comes to town on Tuesday to get the OEC series underway. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
