Riverside City College closed out its home portion of its schedule and honored five sophomores Tuesday night.
The Tigers (9-29, 4-15 Orange Empire Conference) came up short in a 9-0, five-inning loss to Fullerton College (24-13, 13-6 OEC).
Karly Romero and Giselle Flores Morales each went 2-for-2 at the plate for the Tigers, but it was all the offense Riverside could draw up.
Prior to the game, the Tigers honored five sophomores: Carissa O'Neil, Madyson Aguilera, Ruby McDonald, Abigail Baldwin, and Alysha Kendrick.
RCC and Fullerton close out the series on Thursday at 3 p.m. on the Hornets turf.
