Riverside City College took a break from conference action and exploded for a 17-6 road win at Allan Hancock College on Saturday.
The Tigers improve to 5-13 on the year, while the Bulldogs drop to 2-11 overall.
Alysha Kendrick went 4-for-5 with four runs and four RBIs after hitting two home runs. Madyson Aguilara (3-for-5) also knocked a home run, helping RCC post 20 hits in the game.
The game was fairly close until the seventh inning when Riverside busted it wide open, scoring eight runs to seal the 17-6 victory.
Giselle Flores Morales picked up the win in the circle, finishing with five strikeouts in the game.
RCC looks to carry momentum as it resumes Orange Empire Conference action on Tuesday, hosting Santiago Canyon College at 2 p.m.
