Riverside City College traded wins with Moorpark College Tuesday afternoon, falling 7-6 in the first game but grabbing a 5-4 victory in the nightcap.
The Tigers sit at 4-9 on the year, while the Raiders move to 6-6 overall.
In the first game, RCC got its bats hot and finished with 15 hits. Giselle Flores Morales was on fire, going 5-for-5 at the plate with three RBIs. Aerin Anselmini went 3-for-5, while Karly Romero (2-for-5) and Madyson Aguilara (2-for-4) also had multiple hits in the game.
Riverside struck first but gave up a big fifth inning to fall behind and couldn't overcome Moorpark.
The Tigers found themselves trailing early in the second game but scored three runs in the top of the fourth to jump in front. With two runners on and two outs, two errors put two runners on before Flores Morales knocked an RBI single to tack on another one.
RCC added two more runs in the top of the fifth as Anselmini (2-for-3) tagged up on a sacrifice fly and Ruby McDonald scored on a wild pitch.
Jasmine Lemus picked up the win, while Flores Morales grabbed a save.
Riverside is back at home on Friday, hosting East Los Angeles at 1 p.m.
