Riverside City College closed out its first Orange Empire Conference series with Golden West College Friday afternoon, dropping a 5-2 result at home.
The Tigers move to 4-13 on the year and 0-3 in conference, while the Rustlers improve to 12-7 overall and 3-0 in the OEC.
Karly Romero (2-for-4) and Madyson Aguilara (2-for-4) led the Tigers at the plate, while Alysha Kendrick (1-for-2) finished out a solid series against GWC, going 7-for-8 at the plate over the three games.
RCC turns right around to take on Allan Hancock College on the road on Saturday for nonconference action. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.
