Riverside City College took on its toughest opponent yet and fell 21-3 in five innings to No. 2-ranked Palomar College Tuesday afternoon.
The Tigers slip to 1-7 overall, while the Comets improve to 5-0 on the year.
RCC finished with four hits, one each from Carissa O'Neil (1-for-3), Abigail Baldwin (1-for-2), Ryli Wilson (1-for-3), and Brooke Bishop (1-for-2).
Riverside heads out on the road for the next six games, beginning with a 2 p.m. matchup at San Diego City College on Thursday.
