No. 5-ranked Riverside City College scored early and often to grab its first Orange Empire Conference victory Wednesday with an 18-7 win over No. 6-ranked Golden West College.
The Tigers improve to 11-4 on the year and 1-1 in conference, while the Rustlers drop to 10-5, 1-2 in the OEC.
Yosra Elseifi led RCC with seven goals, while also grabbing four steals and drawing three ejections. Angelina Beall added four goals and a steal. Isabella Stolpp, Madison Faulkner, and Brooklyn Wagner all scored two goals, while Kaia Boone rattled in a goal.
Presley Burrell grabbed a team-high seven steals and assisted five times.
Alyssa Cortez made eight saves in the cage.
The Tigers head to the Cuesta College Tournament this weekend, first taking on Diablo Valley at 10:10 a.m. on Friday.
