No. 3-ranked Riverside City College had to face top-ranked Long Beach City College for the fifth time, this time with the 3C2A State Championship on the line. The Tigers gave it everything they had but came up short in a 21-6 defeat to the Vikings.
RCC finishes the year with a 24-12 record, while LBCC won the championship with a 40-2 mark.
Yosra Elseifi and Angelina Beall each scored three goals for the Tigers, who saw Presley Burrell and Brooklyn Wagner each dish out two assists. Madison Faulkner also had an assist in the game.
