No. 4-ranked Riverside City College dominated an 18-2 victory over Merced College before downing Sierra College 17-9 to win its group at the Battle at the Beach Tournament.
The Tigers improve to 18-6 on the year, while the Blue Devils sit at 12-9 overall and the Wolverines move to 9-5 overall.
Ten different Tigers scored in the first game, led by five goals from Yosra Elseifi. Isabella Stolpp scored three goals, while Natalia Jaime added a pair of goals. Angelina Beall, Kaia Boone, Brianna Hoover, Madison Faulkner, Audra Lacey, and Presley Burrell also scored.
In the second game, Beall led RCC with seven goals, while Elseifi added six goals. Stolpp rattled in a pair of goals, while Burrell and Brooklyn Wagner each scored a goal for the Tigers.
RCC turns right around to face a familiar foe, taking on top-ranked Long Beach City College. The Tigers and Vikings square off for the third time this year at 10:20 a.m.
